Why you should see it: In a remake of a 1977 Jane Fonda film, Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni are a wealthy couple cast out of their privileged life when Dick Harper, played by Carrey, loses his job shortly after getting promoted. Meanwhile, Jane, played by Leoni, has quit her job because Dick had received the promotion.
With their money gone, the Harpers find themselves on the verge of losing their possessions and become a comedic Bonnie and Clyde pair to steal back their lives.

Why you should see it: Hollywood explores one of its own in “Gods and Monsters.” James Whale, played by Ian McKellen, has passed his glory days in Hollywood in 1957.
After suffering from a stroke, he can’t help but relive his experiences as an important director and Marine in World War I. He tells his memories to his gardener, Clayton Boone, played by Brendan Fraser, with whom he becomes friends. As his life slips away, he asks Boone to model for him.
