ISU Police Blotter

All the information in the blotter comes from the ISU Police Department. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

March 24

Officers assisted a man in University Village who was experiencing medical problems. The individual was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.

Matthew Niemann, 22, 3235 Lettie St., was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

An officer on patrol observed damage to a vehicle.

A vehicle driven by Zhenhui struck a car owned by Diane Huddle.

A resident of Frederiksen Court reported being harassed by an acquaintance.

During a routine traffic stop, officers discovered that the plates on the vehicle were possibly lost or stolen. Investigation into the incident is continuing.

March 25

Amber Russel reported that three skateboards were stolen from the Memorial Union.

Officers responded to a fight in progress on Chamberlain Street. Witness statements will be reviewed for possible charges.

A resident of Frederiksen Court reported that someone had kicked his windshield and caused damage to the wiper arm of his vehicle.

March 26

Brett Blasberg, 19, 339 Linden Hall, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was additionally cited for operating with an expired license. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Chelsea Lamar, 18, 2353 Martin Hall, Cade Cartwright, 19, 4365 Larch Hall, and Gavin Aronsen, 19, 3250 Welch Hall, were all cited for underage possession of alcohol.

Matthew McKibben, 19, 2318 Martin Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

Gavin Aronsen, 3250 Welch Hall, was arrested for simple assault. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.

Officers assisted an individual in Frederiksen Court who may have been suffering from alcohol poisoning. The individual was transported by ambulance to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.

Inappropriate items were placed in a microwave, causing the fire alarm to be set off in Willow Hall.

Officers assisted an individual in Maple Hall who had apparently passed out. The individual was transported by ambulance to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment.
