All the information in the blotter comes from the arrest records of the ISU Police Department. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
January 31
Officers checked the welfare of a person at Frederiksen Court who was reportedly experiencing emotional difficulties.
A student patron at Beyer Hall reported the theft of a wallet from his coat.
A student reported the theft of his checkbook and unauthorized purchases made. The incident occurred sometime since Jan. 25.
A resident of Friley Hall reported receiving harassing telephone calls.
February 1
William Yelvington, 28, 225 Kellogg Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
A vehicle driven by Richard Jones struck a parked car in Lot 47.
A student reported being assaulted by an acquaintance. The incident remains under investigation.
Officers initiated a drug-related investigation at the Armory.
A vehicle that left the scene struck a parked car at the Memorial Union Ramp.
