Emily Jensen and Sara Faber are running for president and vice president of the Government of the Student Body.

Both are extremely qualified for the position, and have numerous ideas on how to improve GSB to better reflect student needs and interests. Jensen has held numerous positions on GSB and currently serves as the chief of staff. A few highlights of her year include coordinating the Iowa Katrina Aid & Relief efforts and serving on the GSB Strategic Planning Committee. Jensen has an intuitive sense of students’ needs and interests, having been involved in many campus activities including Political Science Club, Pom Squad and ISU Ambassadors.

Faber has also been very active at Iowa State and currently serves as an off-campus senator for GSB. Faber’s leadership experiences include areas such as the Block and Bridle Club, Veishea and the Cyclone Classic.
