Berryman’s citation may result in loss of probation
February 13, 2006
Jason Berryman’s minor on the premises citation may have worse repercussions than being kicked off the football team.
The Story County Attorney’s Office filed a motion Feb. 3 for probation revocation.
According to the motion, Berryman “violated the terms of his probation to the Department of Correctional Services,” and “the defendant’s probation should be revoked,” after being issued a citation on Jan. 29 at Club Element, 2401 Chamberlain St.
Berryman was convicted of first degree theft, a class C Felony, in 2004. He served 258 days in jail.
According to the report, Berryman’s citation violated his probation by breaking the rules of his probation as set by the court.
A hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27 at 10:30 a.m.
Story County Attorney Stephen Holmes was unavailable for comment.
