Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame follows in true parody form in this film. A 17th-century aristocrat is a European legend, living a life of tall tales. Along with his cohorts and a young girl, he embarks on a series of absurd adventures, including a trip to the moon, while trying to save a town from the Turks.

Why you should see it:
The movie picks up where the original story leaves off. Not only is the sky literally falling on Chicken Little’s head, it’s succumbing to gravity because of aliens that look like animated versions of Steven Spielberg’s creatures in “War of the Worlds.” However, the story is really about the relationship between parent and child. Zach Braff voices the title character and proves his versatility and appeal as an actor.
