ISU Police Blotter

All the information in the blotter comes from the arrest records of the ISU Police Department. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
January 6
A staff member reported damage to a bicycle. The incident occurred sometime since Dec. 25 at Ross Hall.
A patron reported the theft of a laptop computer and other personal items at Parks Library.
A vehicle driven by Dana Lybbert struck a car owned by Meredith Humphrey in Lot 112.
Matthew Weber, age 21, 3133 Sycamore Rd., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
January 7
Brett Heineman, age 21, 4912 Mortensen Road., apt. # 114, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
Daniel Kenne, age 38, 2719 Hoover Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
January 8
The Ames Fire Department was summoned to extinguish a fire in a tree at Science II.
Peter Howell, age 24, 319 Wilmoth Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
An officer reported damage to a handicapped parking sign at Frederiksen Court.
Joseph Bethel, age 18, 4338 Larch Hall, was arrested and charged with simple assault and underage possession of alcohol. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
