Aerosmith announces Iowa stop in March

Since making their first public appearance in 1970, classic rockers Aerosmith have filled us with “Sweet Emotion.” The band, whose sweet ballads provided the soundtrack to many saucy middle school memories, has recently added an Iowa stop to their spring tour.

Aerosmith announced that Stephen Tyler and his huge mouth will be consuming Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines at 7:30 p.m. March 23. The band released its 25th full-length album in 2005, “Rockin’ The Joint,” a live album performed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the show go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday and can be purchased for $79.50 and $59.50. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Wells Fargo Arena Ticket Office, Dahl’s Foods or online at www.dahlstickets.com. The show will most likely sell out fast, so obtain tickets with haste, or you may find yourself belting out “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” in your bedroom alone.
