ISU football players named to AP team by media members

Two ISU football players were named to The Associated Press all-Big 12 first team Thursday.
Center Scott Stephenson and linebacker Tim Dobbins were placed on the first team by votes of the conference’s media.
Stephenson switched from the defensive line to the offensive line after transferring from the University of Minnesota. Dobbins led the Cyclones with 96 tackles, an interception and a sack.
Wide receiver Todd Blythe, cornerback LaMarcus Hicks and defensive linemen Brent Curvey and Nick Leaders were named to the second team.
Offensive lineman Aaron Brant, running back Stevie Hicks, defensive end Jason Berryman and cornerback DeAndre Jackson were all given an honorable mention.
