ISU Police Blotter

All the information in the blotter comes from the arrest records of the ISU Police Department. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
November 3
– A 20-year-old male was referred to DOT officials for a .02 civil violation.
– A staff member reported that swear words had been written on a sidewalk with chalk; the area was subsequently cleaned.
– Vehicles driven by Jody Pyle and Barrett Barr were involved in a property damage collision.
– Vehicles driven by Adam Carper and Jessica Sweers were involved in a property damage collision.
November 4
– Kyle Vannier, 18, 2410 Martin Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.
– Zachary Oden, 19, 2410 Martin Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.
– Baljit Manhani, 116 Welch Ave. #208, was taken into custody on a warrant held by the Ames Police Department.
– Officers received a report that a vehicle was used to push two parked cars from their stalls in Lot 112.
– Brian Davis, 21, 4822 Helser Hall, was arrested and charged with simple assault, public intoxication and interference with official acts. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
– Vehicles driven by Marty Rasmusson and Stephanie Donahoo were involved in a property damage collision.
– A staff member reported the theft of a laptop computer carrying case and related equipment.
– Pawel Darowski, 18, 4224 Roberts Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Justice Center.
– Eric Cheatham, 18, 4523 Friley Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Story County Justice Center.
– Kevin Steiff, Boone, reported damage to a vehicle door.
– A Schilletter Village resident reported being harassed by an acquaintance.
– Jonathan Dashner, 2200 Friley Hall, reported the theft of tail lights from a vehicle.
– Jeffrey Rankin, 28, no permanent address, was arrested on warrants for two counts of burglary. The charges were filed following an investigation into car burglaries which occurred on campus more than a month ago.
– Jesse Woods, 20, no permanent address, was arrested on warrants for two counts of burglary. The charges were filed following an investigation into car burglaries which occurred on campus more than a month ago.
