Kara Hickey, an incoming freshman at Iowa State, participated in last weekend’s Intercollegiate Tennis Association Summer Circuittournament, pairing with Notre Dame recruit Kali Krisik to win the doubles title in week three of Central Region play.

The duo earned three doubles wins en route to the championship at the University of Kansas’ Robinson tennis courts, defeating a pair of Jayhawk doubles teams and another set comprised of student-athletes from Marquette and Marshall.

Hickey, a native of Columbia, Mo., will join the Cyclones this fall.
