The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
March 28
- Tonya Kim, 5436 Wilson Hall, reported the theft of a license plate in Lot 93. The incident occurred sometime since March 23.
- Officers assisted a resident who was experiencing emotional difficulties in Buchanan Hall.
March 29
- Anthony Mason, 21, of Mason City, was arrested and charged with domestic abuse-related assault in Larch Hall. Mason was additionally taken into custody on a warrant held by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Emily Boyd, 23, 311 20th St., was arrested and charged with driving under suspension at Ontario Street and Scott Avenue. She was subsequently released on citation.
- A staff member reported being harassed in Ross Hall.
- A patron reported the theft of a wallet from Lied Recreation Center.
- Sam Kessel, 3110 Lettie St., reported the theft of a laptop computer from the Design College.
- A staff member reported the theft of a table and chair from a meeting room in Friley Hall.
- A prospective student informed officers about a no contact order against an acquaintance.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Ross Miller and Eraka McCulla were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 26.
- Heather Mensen, 276 Linden Hall, reported vandalism to her vehicle in Lot 54.
March 30
- Richard Davidson, 23, 1412 North Dakota Ave. #2, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Campus Avenue and Lincoln Way. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Officers and firefighters responded to a mulch fire near the dock area at Ross Hall. The fire was believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.
- Mary Rose Anderson, 44, 918 Wilson Ave., was arrested and charged with driving under suspension and failing to prove proof of security at 6th Street and Elwood Drive. She was subsequently released on citation.
