The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

March 8

  • Rafael Nafikov, of 137E University Village, reported the theft of a bike at University Village.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Alicia Peterson and Katie Jessen were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 50A.

March 9

  • Diane Theesfeld, 22, of Ames, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Hayward Avenue. She was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Kari Cummins and Tyler Barrick were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 21.
  • Vanessa Lin, of 2334 Friley Hall, reported the theft of a digital camera in Friley Hall.
  • Rachel Olive, of 6210 Willow Hall, reported damage to a gas tank cover on a vehicle in Lot 63.
  • Lief Poore-Christiansen, of 2206 Willow Hall, reported the theft of a bike from the Armory.
  • Officers secured a vending machine that had been left open in State Gym.

March 10

  • Tyler Kerr, 23, of 1603 1st St., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Mortensen Road. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Manuel Melendez and Helen Ewald were involved in a property damage collision on Pammel Drive.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Cristin Nass and Bethany Steffen were involved in a property damage collision on Beach Road.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a DVD player from a recreation room in Eaton Hall. The incident occurred sometime since March 3.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Daniel Erickson and Leoronti Poncedeleon were involved in a property damage collision at Osborn Drive and Wallace Road.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Claire Hauser and Darryle Bohanna were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 45.
  • Peter Wong, of 1331 Frederiksen Court, reported the theft of a bike in Marston Hall.
  • Andy Meyer, of 2205 Roberts Hall, reported damage to a vehicle in Lot S4.
  • Megan Townsend, of 6314 Frederiksen Court, reported that trash had been placed on the front of a car in Lot 112.
  • Officers assisted a student who was experiencing emotional difficulties in Frederiksen Court.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Joan Vitale in Lot 50A. The incident occurred approximately six weeks ago.

March 11

  • Joseph Beavers, 24, of Stanhope, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated in Lot 60. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Megan Harms, 21, of 4533 Steinbeck St. #1, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Sheldon Avenue and Lincoln Way. She was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Elizabeth Pieper, 22, of Donnellson, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Hyland Avenue. She was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Officers received a report of an intoxicated male with an open can of beer in the dining center area in Oak-Elm Hall. Brian Boeding, 20, of 4701 Steinbeck St. #16, was later arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
  • Bailey Miller, of 7326 Larch Hall, reported damage to a vehicle in Lot S4.
  • Nathan Loftin, 21, of 613 Meadow Place, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, interference with official acts, failure to post proof of liability and second offense operating while intoxicated on 13th Street. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
