The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 28
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Jodee Plowman and Xiaojia Liu were involved in a property damage collision on Pammel Drive.
- Officers assisted another agency with a sexual assault investigation.
- A CyRide official reported the theft of a cement trash receptacle from the bus stop near Lake LaVerne.
- A staff member reported receiving harassing mail from an acquaintance in Ross Hall.
- ISU Police Department received a hang-up 911 call from an on-campus residence. It is believed the caller was a juvenile who was experiencing harassment from an acquaintance.
- A resident reported being harassed by a roommate in Frederiksen Court. The matter will be referred to housing officials for resolution.
March 1
- David Thompson, 21, 3506 Coy St., was arrested and charged with second offense operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- A staff member reported that stickers were placed on fountain machines after regular business hours at the Memorial Union.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Jimmie Pennington and Cieandra Tindall were involved in a property damage collision at the Memorial Union Ramp.
- Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at University Village. Lance Hover, 29, Ogden, was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and harassment. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
March 2
- Thomas Hinders, 929 Murray Drive, reported the theft of carpet at Buchanan Hall.
- A Welch Hall resident reported receiving harassing messages.
- A vehicle driven by Anthony Debusk struck an Iowa State Center employee directing traffic on South 4th Street.
March 3
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Matthew Anderson and Sarah Buck were involved in a property damage collision at the College of Veterinary medicine.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Nicholas Davidson and Ryan Baum were involved in a property damage collision at the Jacobson Building.
- A staff member reported the theft of a computer component in Gilman Hall.
