LETTER: Groh/Deal will fight to preserve Veishea
March 2, 2005
Angela Groh and Chris Deal will do everything in their power to ensure that Veishea returns to Iowa State.
Both Angela and Chris have taken an active role in past Veishea celebrations by serving as co-chairpersons for events. Although there is no Veishea celebration this year, they are still doing all they can to help. Their entire campaign has pledged to support Leaders INspiring Connections as it works to enhance the Ames community through Operation Playground, a blitz-build of three playgrounds occurring this April.
The desire that Groh and Deal have to bring Veishea back is not only shown through their actions — it is also shown through the actions of others. More specifically, through the actions of LINC. LINC has officially endorsed the Groh/Deal campaign showing that it feels that not only do Angela and Chris have the necessary previous experience with Veishea, but that they also are the best candidates to bring Veishea back to Iowa State.
It is one thing to add your name to a bill like other slates have done. It is another to actively work to bring a spring celebration back to Iowa State. Not only do I support the Groh/Deal campaign’s efforts, I think they are the individuals who will best represent my interests and work to bring Veishea back. Vote Groh and Deal on March 7 and 8.
