I can honestly say that I want to see a Government of the Student Body vice president who will do whatever it takes to help the students of Iowa State accomplish their goals, and Sarah Walter is just that. As the director of student diversity, Walter played an essential role in the planning of the tsunami victims memorial service on Jan. 19. Walter attended the planning meeting with an open mind and dove right in, volunteering to reserve the room, the sound system and book many of the speakers in attendance. Without Walter’s help, I do not believe the memorial service would have gone so smoothly. I want to thank her for her dedication to the international students and remind you to vote for Alliger and Walter on March 7 and 8.
