The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 18
- Benjamin Grosz, 21, 905 North Dakota Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication on the 2400 block of Lincoln Way. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- A resident reported receiving a harassing telephone call in Willow Hall. The incident occurred Wednesday.
- Richard Harris, 149C University Village, reported the theft of a bike from University Village.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Lindsey Thompson in Lot S4.
- A resident reported receiving a harassing telephone call in Linden Hall.
Feb. 19
- Aaron Willett, 22, Boone, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on the 100 block of Hyland Avenue. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Timothy Denner, 21, West Des Moines, was cited for reckless driving after being observed operating a vehicle on central campus.
- Memorial Union staff reported finding drug paraphernalia in a guest room of the MU. The items were placed into secure storage.
- An officer reported damage to a game table that had apparently been thrown from a seventh floor window in Larch Hall.
Feb. 20
- A resident reported that an acquaintance had been assaulted by two men, one of whom displayed a knife, in Elm Hall. All involved were later identified and statements were obtained from each. The incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
- Eric Cooprider, 30, Nevada, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lincoln Way and Lynn Avenue. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- A resident reported that two hate-related words had been written on an elevator light panel in Martin Hall. The graffiti was removed.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Nathan Brenneman and Clayton Hall were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 112.
- A ring was found in Birch Hall and placed in secure storage until the owner can be identified.
- A student reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at Frederiksen Court.
