The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 1
- Kelly Bevins, 18, 2279 Friley Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Ash Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Terry Mason and Lisa Ryherd were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 4.
- John Olson, 33, 102 Mulberry Boulevard, was arrested and charged with driving while barred (aggravated misdemeanor) and driving under suspension at Elwood Drive and Lincoln Way. Olson was transported to the Story County Jail and the vehicle was released to a relative.
Feb. 2
- Brandon Kinshaw, 24, Collins, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Ave. and Mortensen Parkway. Kinshaw was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Christopher Brown, 4209 Willow Hall, reported the theft of a backpack from the commons area in Maple-Willow-Larch.
- A staff member reported the theft of a parking sign from the caf‚ loading dock area at Frederiksen Court.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Jeremy Schmidt in Lot 66.
- Officers received a report of a former resident entering the building in Roberts Hall. The person had been prohibited from doing so by Department of Residence officials.
Feb. 3
- A staff member reported possible unauthorized use of a telephone after regular business hours in Nuclear Engineering.
- A staff member reported the theft of a wallet in Ross Hall. The incident occurred Wednesday.
- A vehicle stolen from Marion was discovered in Lot 100. The suspect is believed to be the victim’s son. The vehicle was impounded and will be released to the owner.
Feb. 4
- Heather Anderson, 23, 1100 Pinon Drive, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Wallace Road. She was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Ben Barry, 2315 Wallace Hall, reported the theft of seven DVDs from his unlocked room in Wallace Hall.
- Dylan Jones, 23, West Des Moines, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension at Hawthorn Drive and Stange Road. He was subsequently released on citation.
- Marc Robinson, 22, 4337 Frederiksen Court, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Ave. and Mortensen Parkway. He was additionally cited for excessive speed, reckless driving, and a stop sign violation. Robinson was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Sarah Lala, 21, 125 Campus Ave. #18, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Chamberlain St. and Hayward Ave. She was transported to the Story County Jail.
- A patron reported the theft of a backpack and personal items from the gymnasium area in Beyer Hall.
- Adam Derry, 19, Jefferson, and Jared Hohanshelt, 19, Boone, were cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lincoln Way and Wilmoth.
- Michael Fredieu, 25, 7135 Frederiksen Court, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension on Pammel Drive. He was subsequently released on citation.
Feb. 5
- A community service officer discovered a male passed out in a restroom in the Memorial Union. Joshua Onken, 23, of Illinois City, IL, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Officers assisted an Elm Hall resident who was experiencing emotional difficulties.
- Maksim Ilyukhin, 34, 125 Russell Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Mortensen Parkway and State Ave. He was transported to the Story County Jail.
- Vehicles driven by Rajane Patel and Brock Vosberg were involved in a property damage collision at 13th Street and Hyland Ave. Patel was cited for failing to yield upon making a left turn.
- A resident reported a check was cashed by an unauthorized person at University Village.
