The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Jan. 12

  • Waleigh Lepon, 52, Des Moines, was taken into custody on a warrant held by the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

Jan. 13

  • Officers assisted a resident who was experiencing emotional problems in Friley Hall.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Julie Kinker and Andrew Werning were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 97.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Yanling Wei and Dan Rice were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 50A.
  • A resident reported being harassed by an acquaintance in Friley Hall.

Jan. 14

  • Kurt Miller, 20, 215 Lynn Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of a false driver license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia at Knapp Street and Welch Avenue.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a textbook in the Memorial Union Bookstore.
  • Officers assisted firefighters responding to a car fire in Lot 112.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Japannah Kellogg in Lot 84.
  • A staff member reported that an unauthorized person was possibly living in a vacant room in Wallace Hall.
  • Tyler Gustafson, 1033 Buchanan Hall, reported the theft of a bike at Willow Hall.
  • Nathan Pritchett, 19, 3350 Larch Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Larch Hall.
  • Officers seized a pellet gun that was possessed in violation of residence hall rules in Larch Hall.

Jan. 15

  • Richard Monk, 22, Boone, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Chamberlain Street and Stanton Avenue.
  • Stephen Rashid, 2366 Larch Hall, reported the theft of a cell phone in Larch Hall.
  • Daniel Erickson, 19, 123 Linden Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, underage possession of alcohol, interference with official acts, and unlawful use of a license in Linden Hall.
  • Paul Brockman, 26, 1103 Delaware Ave., was arrested and charged with driving under suspension at Lincoln Way and Wilmoth Avenue.
