I’m no economist, but it doesn’t take a Ph.D. to see that the Bush administration would like to end Social Security as we know it. By using smoke and mirrors in the form of a multimillion dollar ad campaign and words like “private accounts,” the administration hopes you won’t notice what they are really trying to sell. By creating fear, as they did with the weapons of mass destruction falsehood that led us into Iraq, they are hoping that you will believe it is in your best interest to allow them to dismantle Social Security.

You don’tÿhave to be an economist or a banker or a financial planner to see that everything the Bush administration does is in the interest of the wealthy, the corporations and Wall Street.
