The information in the log comes from ISU Police Department records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 17
- Officers checked on a resident suffering from depression in Larch Hall.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Meghan Middendorf and Mark Love were involved in a property damage collision at Beach Avenue.
- A custodian reported the theft of a carpet-cleaning device from Beyer Hall.
Nov. 18
- Keil Anderson, 23, 4132 Frederiksen Court, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at 6th St. and Elwood Drive.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Norman Bormann struck a parked car owned by Ryan Boeding at the Iowa State Center.
- A stalled vehicle was towed from WOI Road after being in the roadway for an extended period of time.
- An officer reported damage to the painted finish of a parked car at Lot 61.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Jessica Russ and Teresa Cox were involved in a property damage collision at Lot 85E.
- A vehicle driven by David Staab collided with Michaeline Fox, a pedestrian, at Beach Road.
Nov. 19
- Mark Lerma, 18, 173C University Village, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault under domestic abuse law.
- An officer observed a man assaulting another in a parking lot. Brent Swisher, 21, Council Bluffs, was arrested and charged with serious assault.
- Jess Coyle, 3423 Frederiksen Court, reported a bulletin board was thrown onto the windshield of a car.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Diana Diaz and Mary Clancy were involved in a property damage collision at S. 4th St.
- Jeitil Wang, 3500 North Grand Ave., reported the theft of a calculator and a bag from Parks Library.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by James Hogulund and Zachary Meyer were involved in a personal injury collision at S. 16th St. and Christensen Drive.
- Officers investigated possible drug activity and seized several pieces of paraphernalia from Willow Hall.
- Katherine Moorman, 18, Boone, was referred to DOT officials for a chemical test refusal. She was charged with driving under suspension, underage possession of alcohol, excessive speed and failure to prove security against liability.
Nov. 22
- A staff member reported falling in a crosswalk area at Union Drive.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Loren Jones and Heather Berg were involved in a property damage collision at the 100 block of South Dakota Avenue.
Nov. 27
- Patrick Laffey, 18, Runnells, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Lot G2.
- John Tieskoetter, 20, 1400 Coconino Road, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in lot G2.
