The ISU athletic department announced that Will Blalock will miss Iowa State’s season opener against Drake on Nov. 23.

Blalock will serve a one-game penalty for participating in a non-certified summer league game in August.

After discovering Blalock’s participation in the game, Iowa State self-reported the violation and imposed a one-game suspension. The NCAA has accepted Iowa State’s report and considers the matter closed.
