Oct. 18
- Officers checked on the welfare of a resident at Wilson Hall.
- A resident in University Village reported giving personal information via the telephone to an alleged credit card company.
- A resident in Schilletter Village reported chalk was being used to write on a building and on sidewalks.
- A staff member reported the theft of a laptop computer from Science I.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Mark Dobbe and Mark Debner were involved in a property damage collision at Lincoln Way and Elwood Drive.
Oct. 19
- Cody McKinley, 110 McDonald Dr., reported the theft of a CD player from his vehicle in lot 112.
- Officers assisted another agency with a drug-related investigation in Boone County.
- An officer observed a car with a broken window in lot 61.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Renae Pruess and Janice Baumleer were involved in a property damage collision on Oct. 18 in Lot 112.
- William Heeney, 10356 Wallace Hall, reported the theft of a vehicle emblem from his vehicle.
- Officers responded to a disagreement between two brothers in Wilson Hall.
Oct. 20
- A vehicle reported the previous day to Ames Police as stolen was located at Veenker Golf Course.
- An individual reported losing her purse in Molecular Biology.
- A car that left the scene struck a vehicle owned by Zackary McVey in the East Parking Deck.
- A resident in Helser Hall reported receiving a harassing telephone call from an unknown person.
Oct. 21
- Laura Rofshus, 22, 528 Billy Sunday Road, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- A staff member reported the theft of chairs from the Terrace Room in Friley Hall.
- A staff member reported political messages being painted on the sidewalks at Coover Hall.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Thandie Mkandawire and Jason Kohorst were involved in a property damage collision in lot B6.
