ISU Police Log
September 2, 2004
The information in the log comes from records of the ISU Police Department provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
August 31
- A student reported the theft of personal items from a locker at the Lied Recreation Center. The theft occurred Aug. 30.
- A staff member reported the theft of a USB memory stick from Hoover Hall.
- Dana Lybbert reported the theft of a bicycle from Helser Hall.
- A passport was turned into DPS. It was placed in secure storage at the Armory Building until the owner can be contacted.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Timothy Brennan and Greg Koch were involved in a property damage collision in Lot S3.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Robert Zimmerman III and Shawn Peil were
involved in a property damage collision in Lot 62. In addition, Shawn Peil was
cited for no insurance.
September 1
- Derek Neppl, 27, Estherville, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Roger Kovacic and Beverly Carstensen
were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 28.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Lindsey Ewinger and Kyeong Heo
were involved in a property damage collision on Pammel Drive.
- A found computer case at Frederiksen Court was placed into secure storage until the owner can be contacted.
- Officers received a report of people possessing handguns in Freeman Hall. Two look-alike pellet guns were subsequently from two male residents.
