July 19
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Mark Eddy and Brian Reece were involved in a property damage collision in the area of S. 4th Street.
- A staff member reported the theft of a computer monitor from Bessey Hall. The incident occurred approximately two years ago.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck an unattended parked car in Lot 1.
- A vehicle that was being driven without insurance was towed from the area of Knapp Street and Lynn Avenue.
July 20
- Kevin Weiser, 25, 1402 Ridgewood Ave., was charged with driving under suspension in the area of Sheldon Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- A staff member reported the theft of cash from several unlocked rooms in Larch Hall.
- Jinzheng Li reported the theft of a bike from Parks Library.
July 21
- A staff member reported damage to a lock and hasp in Buchanan Hall.
July 22
- Gregory Frost, 49, Carroll, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Karla Kirchhoff and Michael Peck were involved in a property damage collision near the Veterinary Medicine building.
- Officers assisted another agency with an e-mail harassment investigation at the Armory.
July 23
- Kelby Tovar, 23, Waterloo, was arrested and charged with public intoxication in the area of Welch Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- A vehicle backing out of a parking stall bumped a parked car, causing minor damage. The incident occurred in Lot 59A.
- A staff member reported damage to a window on a state-owned vehicle near Mortensen Road.
July 24
- Bobby Chalk, 18, Garland, Texas, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated in the area of Arbor Street and Sheldon Avenue.
- Cason Clark, 19, 305 21st St., was arrested and charged with public intoxication in the area of Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- A vehicle struck a barricade at Jack Trice Stadium.
- A vehicle driven by Tracie Pugh struck a barricade near S. 4th Street.
July 25
- Jaclyn Kritz, 23, Huxley, was charged with driving while barred near 13th Street and Northwestern.
- Jennifer Bunning, 21, Boone, was arrested on a fifth degree arrest warrant held by the Ames Police Department.
