The information in the log comes from ISU police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. There are no cases reported on days which are not listed.
May 3
- A staff member at Black Engineering building reported damage to window.
- Jacob Dekkenga, 60 Schilletter Village, reported theft of bike. Incident thought to have occurred within the last two weeks.
- A wallet was found at Lake LaVerne and placed into secure storage until the owner can be contacted.
- Julie Lange, 22, 425 Welch Ave., was arrested and charged with driving under suspension.
May 4
- Susan Pearson, 38, Grand Junction, was arrested and charged with driving while under suspension.
- ISU Police assisted Ames police with drug-related investigation.
- Officers checked the welfare of Maple Hall resident reported to be experiencing emotional problems.
- Kevin Uzalac, 45, North Branch, Minn., was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance in area of Lot C-4.
- Corrina Teachout, 36, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with public intoxication in area of Hilton Coliseum.
- Jeffery Cechovic, 21, Perry, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
May 5
- A staff member reported damage to a Gerdin Business Building window.
- ISU Police called in to assist Ames PD as Alya Repp, 21, 4415 Toronto St., was arrested on a warrant.
- Damage was reported to two light poles near Lake LaVerne.
- A staff member reported ladders were stolen from Maple Hall.
- Staff members in Lot 63 reported damage to a window of a parked car.
- Matthew Johnson, 19, 3226 Willow Hall, cited for underage possession of alcohol.
May 6
- Officers acted on a report of hazardous materials in Willow Hall and confiscated homemade explosive devices. Items relinquished to State Fire Marshal’s Office for processing. Investigation is continuing.
- Lyndsey Klemme, 19, 820 Maple Hall, was cited for underage alcohol possession.
