I would like to extend thanks to the great folks of our local law enforcement who made the events of Saturday night possible.

Without your unfaltering pressure and direction, no one would have been herded from a packed, yet not unruly, party into a very small and soon agitated area near Welch Avenue. Your inspiration helped everyone realize that as a large, forcefully collected alcohol-fueled mass, breaking windows and knocking down street lights can be a great Veishea tradition.

Once again, thank you very much for your efforts during Veishea 2004. These riots will make for a great story for everyone to look back on, once the stinging from the tear gas and mace goes away.
