I would just like to thank the police for the pepper spray I received on Saturday night. I never heard anything from them about getting out of the street. I was standing in line at Welch Avenue Station, and I turn around and a cop sprays me in the face.

It is now apparent that Iowa State, Ames and Story County don’t respect the students who live in their community. Not only should we see resignations from police for their brutality, but I think that students should transfer to another school that will accept them into their community. Why should we keep going to a school and living in a community that clearly doesn’t want us here?
