If I could vote, I would vote for Sophia Magill for Government of the Student Body president.

I have known her for three years as a member of the large Youth and Shelter Services Board.

She is one of two students on the 25-member board. She is a strong, articulate and thoughtful member.

Her perspective on issues is always respectfully considered by other board members.

Despite her many activities and academic load, she participates in the monthly meetings and the additional meetings of two other YSS boards.

She has experience as an elected leader, bringing different groups together, presiding at meetings and does it with a warm and collegiate manner.

I consider Sophia to be one of the top ten students I have known through my many years of teaching. Do yourself a favor and choose Sophia to be GSB president.
