February 29

• Martin Leon-Morales, 22, 420 E. 7th St., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, driving while barred, two counts of driving under suspension, careless driving and failure to provide proof of insurance at Lincoln Way and State Avenue.
• Michael Reger, 21, 4901 Todd Dr., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lincoln Way and Maple Avenue.
• Officers assisted Ames Police with two 14-year-old females in Lot 62 who were referred to Juvenile Court Services for alcohol and other various violations.
• Sommer McCann, 19, 2254 Willow Hall, was arrested on a warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance in Willow Hall.

March 1

• An officer initiated a case regarding a drug investigation at the Armory.
• A follow-up investigation into reported thefts at the convenience store in Maple-Willow-Larch resulted in fifth-degree theft charges being filed against the following: Joseph Grabinski, 19, 313 Stanton Ave.; Tyler Hutchens, 20, 227 S. 5th St.; and Brandon Baer, 20, 227 S. 5th St.
