LETTER: We can learn from Eustachy’s mistakes
March 29, 2004
Like anyone, I am glad to see Larry Eustachy has taken steps to correct his problem, and it is nice that he has another opportunity to coach D-I basketball.
However, I am appalled that Jackson Vroman, a senior, thinks that there isn’t a lesson to be learned from the situation (“Southern Mississippi hires Eustachy,” March 25).
In the hopes that others avoid making the same mistakes, here are the basics. First, don’t go drinking with people half your age. Second, don’t kiss other women if you are married.
Finally, don’t go telling students from a rival school that your team sucks! Has our generation learned nothing from our supposed role models?
