LETTER: Congrats to all-star ISU student

ISU senior Omar Tesdell has been named to USA Today’s 2004 All-USA College Academic Second Team.

It’s an impressive thing to read.

I was so happy to read that an ISU student made it to this point, competing with a lot other students from huge schools.

The other winners have great inventions and services but Omar has influenced a lot people locally, and pointed us to an important thing the world needs — peace.

I admit that I have been influenced by Omar — I never before believed that peace exists, I never hoped that such thing would ever come to pass.

His work that started from Ames has spread out to the rest of the world.

Congratulations, Omar!
