February 6
- A Frederiksen Court resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
- A Schilletter Village resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
- A Friley Hall staff member reported a possible weapon’s violation in Friley Hall. A pellet gun was recovered. The incident has been turned over to the Department of Residence.
February 7
- Dustin Evans, 20, Grand Junction, was arrested and charged with trespassing at Friley Hall.
- A concerned party requested that police check the welfare of a resident in Friley Hall. Information about support services available at Iowa State was provided.
- Amanda Martinez, 24, 1520 Kentucky Ave., was cited for driving under suspension on Lincoln Way.
- Kelly Considine, 20, address unknown, was cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age on the 400 block of Welch Avenue.
- Daniel Ginther, 24, 1105 Stafford Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Ash Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- Lance Shonts, 23, 212 S. Hyland Ave., was arrested for public intoxication at Chamberlain Street and Stanton Avenue.
- Jessica Strieter reported a vehicle with a broken window parked near Friley Hall.
- Vehicles owned and or driven by Cory Welter and Jordan Gilmore were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 1.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Josh Beyer in Lot 63.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Xueyuan Cao in Lot 57.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Andy Meffer at Eaton Hall.
February 8
- Ted Dievert, 27, Schilletter Village, was arrested and charged with domestic assault.
- Officers assisted the Ames Police Department with a possible burglary in progress on Stanton Avenue.
- Andrew Corum, 18, was arrested and charged with public intoxication on Welch Avenue.
- A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Alex Gustafson in Lot 1.
- A student reported the theft of blue jeans from the racquetball area at Beyer Hall.
