So let me see if I got this right. Mall mogul Bucky Wolford asked that the Ames Land Use Policy (ALUP) be amended, and is told by the City that he must pay for infrastructure improvements at the I-35/13th intersection.

The owners of North Grand Mall ask that the ALUP be amended, and offer to pay for the resulting infrastructure improvements, and the Mayor accuses them of being “unethical and illegal” in their behavior.

I think if the new mall issue has fallen to the name-calling stage, I vote for the word “Hypocrite.”
