Thielen Student Health Center cuts back hours
January 15, 2004
The Thielen Student Health Center has changed its clinic hours as a result of budget constraints. The change went into effect Jan. 10.
New Thielen Student Health Center hours are Monday and Tuesday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday and Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon. The center will be closed on Sundays.
“Decreasing our hours of operation was a difficult decision for us to make and was done as a result of the budgetary constraints currently facing Iowa State University,” Brian Dunn, program coordinator for the student health center said in a news release.
Dunn said after-hours advice on an acute illness or injury can still be accessed by students by calling First Nurse at 239-6877.
