The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

January 19

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Tae You and Gary Russell were involved in a property damage collision in Lot 26.
  • Kelley Scheppler, 7215 Frederiksen Court, reported the theft of items from an unlocked vehicle in Lot 112.
  • Kelsey Lechner, 9316 Wallace Hall, reported the theft of laundry in Wallace Hall.
  • William Mekemson, 18, 723 Maple Hall, and Benjamin Porter, 18, 714 Maple Hall, were cited for criminal trespass on Central Campus, reference an alarm in the steam tunnels on Jan. 11.
  • Cole Wunschel, 21, 4222 Frederiksen Court, was charged at Frederiksen Court with supplying alcohol to underage persons, reference an incident that occurred on Jan. 17.

January 20

  • Benjahmin Scherler, 23, 610 Squaw Creek Dr., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Storm Street and Stanton Avenue.
  • Officers helped extinguish a dumpster fire at Barton Hall.
  • Scott Roskilly, 18, 444 Freeman Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Freeman Hall.
  • A staff member reported the theft of two turtles at Science II.
  • Officers assisted a man who had fallen at the Nuclear Engineering Building.
  • Daniel Clark, age 20, of 4416 Wilson Hall, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in Wilson Hall.

January 21

  • Lovish Bederazazk, 48, 2512 Lincoln Way, was charged with driving with a revoked license at Sheldon Avenue and Lincoln Way.
  • A staff member found a bag containing personal papers at the Memorial Union. The item was placed into secure storage until the owner can be identified.
  • Michael McClimon, 3316 Tripp St., reported the theft of design supplies from the College of Design.
  • Officers responded to a fire alarm caused by a broken sprinkler head at Reiman Gardens.
  • A Friley Hall resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls.

January 22

  • Joanne Tenesaca, 26, 1006 Lincoln Way, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Arbor Street and Sheldon Avenue.
  • Vaughn Rupnow, 22, Prole, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Little Street and Hayward Avenue.
  • Matt Ott, 4238 Frederiksen Court, reported the theft of several digital video disks and videotapes from his apartment.
  • A Linden Hall resident reported the theft of jewelry from a bathroom.
  • Christopher Missel reported that salt pellets fell from an ISU truck and struck his vehicle on Highway 30.
  • Officers checked the welfare of a distraught resident in Willow Hall.

January 23

  • Officers received information regarding individuals possibly supplying alcohol to underage persons in Mapple-Willow-Larch.
