Police Blotter

The information in the blotter comes from Ames Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

December 1

  • Antonio Adams, Fort Dodge, was arrested for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on an $8,500 surety bond.

December 2

  • Donte Cox, 1003 Hyland Ave., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a nuisance violation. He was released to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Dennis Sansgaard, 324 E. 7th St. #1, was arrested on six counts of contempt of court, failure to appear or failure to pay. He was released to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Johnny Tolle, 2126 Barr Dr., was arrested for a warrant for aggravated assault. He was taken to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Angela Halladay, Nevada, was arrested for interference with official acts. She was released on her own recognizance.
  • John Lueth, 1217 Delaware Ave. #4, was arrested for first-degree burglary. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

December 3

  • Shannon Westbrook, Des Moines, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. She was released on a $950 surety bond.
  • Ann Blyth, Ogden, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. She was released on citation.
  • Margarito Zapata-Juarez, 5616 E. Lincoln Way #42, was arrested for contempt of court and failure to appear. He was released and given time to pay.December 5
  • Meghan Solheid, 2922 West St., was arrested for public intoxication. She was released on citation.
  • Xinyu Ding, 168B University Village, was arrested for simple domestic abuse and obstruction of emergency communication. He was released on his own recognizance.

December 6

  • Brandon Nattress, Ankeny, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was released on his own recognizance.
  • Dwane Carter, 616 8th St. #1, was arrested for willful injury. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
