The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

November 16

  • Officers received a report that glass bottles were being thrown from a fifth-floor window at Wallace Hall. The following were later cited for underage possession of alcohol: Jason Hoffman, 20, 300 Stanton Ave.; Anthony Alleman, 19, 5351 Wallace Hall; Sage Kokjohn, 20, 116 Welch Ave.; Melissa Reiter, 19, Carroll; Mitchell Marovets, 19, 5355 Wallace Hall; and Joseph Bata, 20, 5335 Wallace Hall.
  • Officers encountered men in possession of a stolen Zip drive. Charles Bazeley, 20, Cincinnati, Ohio, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft. Jeremiah Johnson, 21, Champaign, Ill., was arrested and charged with possession of burglar tools at the Armory.
  • Three men were observed removing and carrying parking lot signs at Lot 112. The following were subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication and criminal mischief: Sean Sabin, 20, Coralville; Thomas Sturm, 24, 5124 Frederiksen Court; and Herburtus VonCrailsheim, 26, 6323 Frederiksen Court.
  • Alex Renner, 7127 Frederiksen Court, re-ported the theft of a license plate at Lot 112.
  • Justin Brown, 2293 Friley Hall, reported damage to his vehicle at Lot S6.
  • An officer discovered an individual stopped earlier had been driving under revocation at Armory.

November 17

  • Martin Petersen, 24, 3373 Friley Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A firearm with the serial number removed was also recovered at Friley Hall.
  • Trisha Smith, 428 Stonehaven Dr., reported the theft of a purse from her vehicle at Lot 100.

November 18

  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Tyler Harman and Kay Alford were involved in a property damage collision at Lot 21.
  • Officers received information regarding possible drug use at Frederiksen Court.
  • Suzy Woell, 7411 Frederiksen Court, reported damage to a vehicle at Lot 112.
  • A vehicle driven by Jacob Muller struck a pedestrian, Michelle Kozmik, at Pammel Drive.

November 19

  • An individual from Texas called to report that an on-campus computer was attempting to access a system there. The machine was located in a vacant office at Snedecor Hall and disabled.
  • Officers received a report of a man pulling a two-wheel cart near the loading dock. A person in the area was located and identified at Knapp-Storms Commons.
  • A staff member reported the theft of two electronic parking meters at Morrill Road.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Justin Speiker and Brandon Baer were involved in a property damage collision at Lot 63.
  • A student reported the theft of a wallet from a locker room. A credit card that was inside was later used to make an unauthorized purchase at Veterinary Medicine.
  • Devin Kruse, 139 North Sheldon Ave., reported the theft of a bike at Heady Hall.
  • Justin Lindee, 20, 6427 Wilson Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Wilson Hall.
