The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

November 20

  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Michelle Mohon at Lot 1.
  • An abandoned bicycle at Jack Trice Stadium was placed into secure storage until the owner can be identified.
  • A search warrant was executed at an off-campus residence. Numerous stolen items were recovered, including computers, projectors, signs, food, radios, and miscellaneous electronic equipment at Lincoln Way. The investigation is continuing and criminal charges are pending.
  • A resident reported the theft of a FedEx package at Schilletter Village.
  • Chris Brown, 3226 Roberts Hall, reported the theft of stereo equipment from his vehicle at Lot S8. The incident occurred sometime since Nov. 16.
  • Benjamin Pool, 19, 3009 Turquoise Circle, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possesion of drug paraphernalia.
  • Matthew Mull, 19, 10348 Wallace Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, prohibited acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol.

November 21

  • Officers and paramedics checked the welfare of two residents who had consumed too much over-the-counter medicine at Linden Hall. The individuals were checked and released.
  • Clinton Sloss, 18, 4846 Helser Hall, was charged with underage possession of alcohol at Helser Hall.
  • Michael Kromminga, 18, 4851 Helser Hall, was both charged with underage possession of alcohol at Helser Hall.
  • Adam Lander, 18, 5354 Larch Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of a false identification and harassment of a public official at Helser Hall.
  • Officers received a report of a person knocking the mirrors off of two parked vehicles at the Memorial Union. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a cowboy hat and a red sweatshirt.
  • Officers checked the welfare of a student suffering from depression at Frederiksen Court. The individual was referred to counseling services.
  • A staff member reported damage to a state vehicle at Lot 84.
  • Jeffery Schmitz, 5404 Wilson Hall, reported the theft of clothing from the laundry at Wilson Hall.
  • A resident reported finding a bike that had been stolen in September at Friley Hall. The person said he would bring proof of ownership.
  • A staff member reported the theft of cash at Veterinary Medicine.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Jens Hjelm at Lot S4.
  • Eric Lund, 19, 7213 Willow Hall, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Willow Hall.

November 22

  • A resident reported seeing four individuals damaging a bike. The suspects were gone on officer arrival at Roberts Hall.
  • Officers received a report that a car had struck a light pole. Abhishek Saboo, 24, 263 N. Hyland Ave., was subsequently arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lot 9.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a car owned by Matthew Weber at Lot 112.
  • Officers assisted the Story County Sheriff’s Office with a hit and run accident at Elwood Drive.

November 23

  • An officer on patrol observed damage to a parked car. A message was left for the owner at Lot 63.

November 24

  • An unoccupied truck slipped out of gear and rolled into another vehicle at Lot B1.
  • A student reported losing a wallet at Gilman Hall.

November 25

  • Maria Axenovich, 1916 Meadow Lane, reported the theft of items from her vehicle at Lot 29.
  • A staff member reported the theft of an LCD screen at Carver Hall. The incident occurred sometime after Nov. 21.
  • A staff member reported the theft of speakers at Sweeney Hall. The incident was first discovered on Nov. 19.
