The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

November 4

  • Jessica Ellis, 19, Fort Dodge, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Lincoln Way.

November 5

  • Colothdian Tate, 29, 1020 Delaware Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on Lincoln Way.
  • Benjamin Luettel, 23, 131 Campus Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Avenue and Lincoln Way.
  • A staff member reported damage to a restroom sign at Lot A1.
  • A staff member reported vandalism to a vehicle at Lot 61.
  • A juvenile riding a bus reported receiving an offensive note from an unknown person at Bissell Road and Osborn Drive.
  • John Wender, 1121 Friley Hall, reported the theft of a bike at Friley Hall.
  • Officers received a report that a man was struck by a CyRide bus. The victim was gone on officer arrival at Osborn Drive.

November 6

  • Officers spoke with a resident who was possibly looking into apartment windows at Frederiksen Court.
  • Ronald Scott, 49, Boone, was charged with driving under suspension on Chamberlain Street.

November 7

  • Melissa Warg, 18, Gilbert, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated and underage possession of alcohol. Two 16-year-old females were also referred to Juvenile Court Services for underage possession of alcohol at Lincoln Way.
  • Michael Holdren, 21, 121 Howard Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication on Lincoln Way.
  • Sacha Ostern, 21, Nevada, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Beach Avenue and Lincoln Way. Charges were later dismissed.
  • Joshua Whipple, 19, Des Moines, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.
  • Nicholas Scibilia, 18, 4226 Roberts Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Roberts Hall.
  • A vehicle driven by Wanda Eikenberry struck a pedestrian at Pammel Drive and Stange Road; there were no injuries.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a projector at Hoover Hall.
  • A student reported the theft of a cell phone, keys, and a hat at Ross Hall.
  • Ryan Erickson, 6215 Frederiksen Court, reported damage to his vehicle at Lot 112.
  • A staff member reported harassing behavior among roommates and neighbors at Frederiksen Court.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Jonathon Kent and Joseph Capista were involved in a property damage collision at Union Drive and Wallace Road.
  • A resident reported that an unauthorized person attempted to purchase merchandise using his checking account information at Frederiksen Court.

November 8

  • Gregory Walker, 19, 3706 Helser Hall, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, interference with official acts, filing a false report, and harassment of a public official at Hayward Avenue.
  • Fred Cirksena, 24, 111 N. Russell Ave., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Ash Avenue and Lincoln Way.
  • An officer encountered an unresponsive man at the transit hub. Aric Cunningham, 22, 2301 Ferndale, was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication at Lot B6.
  • Devin Shea, 20, Primghar, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G2.
  • Matthew Dose, 19, Storm Lake, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G3.
  • Jeffery Yates, 20, Ames, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G3.
  • Matthew Diemer, 19, 1108 S. 4th St., was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G3.
  • Scott Cornelius, 19, Zearing, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G3.
  • Kristen Voss, 19, 134 Campus Ave., was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Lot G3.
