LETTER: Political correctness was taken too far
October 16, 2003
I found Amy Peet’s Oct. 15 column, “Campus greeks expropriating true ‘Greek life,'” to be silly and full of unthoughtful nitpicking.
It’s ridiculous to take political correctness to such a drastic, obsessive level.
The greek system has very little to do with Greece — greek houses only use its letter system. People use Roman numerals all the time, but I don’t hear any argument over the expropriation of ancient Roman culture.
