The Ames City Council election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4. I would like to encourage all students to vote in this election because it really does affect all of us. How we are represented by the City Council affects many aspects of our lives including how we live and work.

I would also like to encourage the residents of the fourth ward to vote for Joe Paulson. Joe is someone who cares about students at Iowa State. He understands the student community makes a big contribution to the greatness of this city. Not only will he listen to students’ ideas and concerns, but he will act upon them.

If Joe Paulson is elected to the fourth ward, we can expect him to bring common sense leadership to the City Council and be a voice for ISU students.
