Police Blotter

The information in the blotter comes from Ames Police records provided to the Iowa State Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty.
October 18
- Nicholas Roberts, 317 Lynn Ave., was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
- William Payno, Missouri Valley, was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on $325 bond.
- Duane Vanegdom, Rock Valley, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was fined $100 plus costs.
- Marc Evans, Oyens, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was fined $100 plus costs.
- Joseph Housley, Des Moines, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was fined $100 plus costs.
- Ricky Hampton, 225 S. Kellogg Ave., was arrested on a warrant for fourth degree theft. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
- Jeffrey Roberts, 108 High Ave., was arrested for violation of probation. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
October 19
- Brian Boland, 115 AF Academy, Colorado, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was fined $100 plus costs.
- Noel Schmieg, Eden Prairie, Minn., was arrested for disorderly conduct. He pled guilty and was fined $300 plus costs.
- Andrew Gorman, 4812 Todd Dr. #66, was arrested for public intoxication and simple assault. He pled guilty on the intoxication charges and was fined $100 plus costs. He was released on zero percent of $500 bond on the disorderly charge.
- Eric Martinson, 414 Stanton Ave., was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He pled guilty on the intoxication charges and was fined $100 plus costs. He was released on zero percent of $500 on the disorderly charge.
- Joshua Lube, Roland, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and eluding police.
