The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

October 4

  • Gregory Velasquez, 22, 217 Ash Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication at South 16th Street and Elwood Drive.
  • Michael Thornton, 19, Clear Lake, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of false identification in Lot G2.
  • Katie Hill, 19, Eldridge, was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Lot G2.
  • Carrie Sanneman, 20, 602 Stanton Ave., was cited for underage possession of alcohol in Lot G3.
  • Andrew Hollinger, 27, Indianola, was arrested and charged with public intoxication in Lot G3.
  • A student reported being assaulted by three white males who stole his wallet at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium.
  • Jacob Wagner, 19, 1933 Maxwell Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication in Lot S3.
  • Ray Horner, 60, Benton, Ark., was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Reiman Gardens.
  • A 17 year-old male from Rippey was referred to juvenile court services for underage possession of alcohol in Lot S8; he was then released to his parents.
  • A staff member reported the theft of a light fixture from the tunnel near the horse barns.
  • A vehicle that left the scene struck a truck owned by Tom Lowe in Lot C4.October 5
  • Officer received a report of men urinating on cars and breaking bottles. Nicholas Veldman, 18, 2248 Friley Hall, and Mark Johnson, 18, 1551 Helser Hall, were subsequently cited for underage possession of alcohol at Eaton Hall.
  • Cory Campbell, 21, Johnston, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Lincoln Way and Wilmoth Avenue.

October 6

  • Joseph Chrystal, 320 Hillcrest Ave., reported the theft of a bike at Carver Hall.
  • Jason Kurzer, 3682 Helser Hall, reported the theft of a license plate at Lot 59A.
  • Officers checked the welfare of a resident who had not been seen since the day before at Willow Hall. The person was later located in an adjoining state.
  • An abandoned bicycle at Linden Hall was placed into secure storage until the owner can be identified.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Robert Gruman and Anne Naberhaus were involved in a property damage collision in Lot A3.

October 7

  • Diana Billings, 21, 3206 Lincoln Way, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Hayward Avenue and Knapp Street.
  • Two residents reported the theft of shoes from a hallway area at Schilletter Village.
  • Dan Lichtenberg, 6338 Frederiksen Court, reported the theft of computer games at Frederiksen Court.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Julie Robertson and Roger Ferwerda were involved in a property damage collision at Maple Hall.
  • Vehicles owned and/or driven by Katherine Blummer and Timothy Christians were involved in a property damage collision at Lot 112.
  • David Johnson, 1217 Eaton Hall, reported the theft of a license plate at Lot 2.
  • Officers initiated an investigation regarding possible drug possession at Wallace Hall.
