Police Blotter

October 4

  • John Njue, 106 Pear Ct., was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
  • Christopher Peterson, 2122 Lincoln Way, was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
  • James Story, Des Moines, was arrested for public intoxication and interference. He was released on zero percent of $500.
  • Kyle Jechlin, Davenport, was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on $325 cash and a signed form B.
  • Patricia Simmons, 1205 Delaware Ave. #2, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and driving under suspension. She was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

  • Monia Robertson, 143 N. Sheldon Ave. #2, was arrested for public intoxication. She was released on citation.

  • Umair Abbasi, 1621 N. Dakota Ave., was arrested for interference with official acts. He was released on zero percent of $325.
  • Joshua Clanton, 1124 Curtiss Ave., was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was released on zero percent of $325.
  • Jomo Johns Jr., Nevada, was arrested for public intoxication and interference with official acts. He was released on zero percent of $650.
  • Jacob Sigler, Nevada, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, tax stamp violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating while intoxicated. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

  • Scorpio Dantzler, Des Moines, was arrested for willful injury and 1st degree robbery. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Austin Hogate, 4912 Mortensen Rd. #411, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, willful injury, and 1st degree robbery. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Patrick McGarvey, Boone, was arrested for willful injury and first-degree robbery. He was transported to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Brian Points, West Des Moines, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was released.
  • Jan Ferreira, 3401 Tripp St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated. She was released on citation.
  • Arturo Towes, 4130 Lincoln Swing No. 41, was arrested for interference, operating while intoxicated, a warrant for failure to pay on an intoxication charge, and a warrant for driving while barred. He was taken to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

September 12

  • Jessie Johnson, 704 Kellogg Ave., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. He was released on zero percent of $2,300.
