October 20
- A resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls at Frederiksen Court.
- An abandoned bicycle was placed into secure storage until the owner can be identified at Knoll Road.
- A woman reported being pushed and struck by a man as she exited her parked car at Lot S4; he fled the area when another vehicle approached.
October 21
- Aubrey Allen, 107 Barton Hall, reported the theft of a bicycle at Barton Hall.
- Bjorn Holine, 2685 Helser Hall, reported the theft of a license plate; the incident occurred sometime since Sept. 28 at Lot S4.
- Rebecca McMillen, 47, 1616 Amherst Dr., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated on CyRide Road.
- A woman reported losing her purse at Lot 61.
October 22
- A 17-year-old female was charged with the following: Operating while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, underage possession of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized possession of a driver’s license, and underage possession of tobacco on Ontario Street.
- Matt Helgeson, 7217 Willow Hall, reported the theft of a bike at Willow Hall.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Kent Spohnheimer and Patrick Whannell were involved in a property damage collision on Knoll Road.
- A student reported that someone had entered her vehicle at Lot 60; nothing was stolen.
- Martin Gomez-Cardenas, 38, was arrested and charged with simple assault in reference to a domestic disturbance at University Village.
- A student reported the theft of car keys at Design College.
October 23
- Greg Peiffer, 117 South Russell Ave., reported the theft of a bike at Parks Library.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Andrew Mossman and Gary Heck were involved in a property damage collision at State Avenue.
- A bicycle operated by Song Hoon Sang collided with a vehicle driven by Lauren Hayes at Pammel Drive and Stange Road.
- John Verrkade, 1275 Gilman Hall, reported the theft of a laptop computer at Gilman Hall.
- A student employee reported a female co-worker assaulted her at Hawthorn Community Center.
- Caitlyn Haning, 20, Knoxville, was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Hilton Coliseum.
October 24
- Michael Wilson, 24, 3219 Lettie St., was arrested and charged with public intoxication at Lot 60.
- An officer conducting surveillance observed a man forcibly remove and damage a handicapped parking sign from a nearby church. Daniel Melby, 23, Dunlap, was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication, theft, criminal mischief and interference at Friley Hall.
- Officers assisted a resident who had consumed a large quantity of pills at Linden Hall.
- A vehicle driven by Wei-Chang Tsai collided with a bicycle operated by Robert Scott on Wallace Road.
- A resident reported being assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. Christopher Brennan, 19, 4455 Wilson Hall, was subsequently arrested on a warrant, charging him with serious misdemeanor assault at Wilson Hall.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Adam Burdorf and Dustin Thenderhawk were involved in a property damage collision at Pammel Drive.
- Sarah Meyer, 20, 318 Pearson Ave., was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
- Benjamin Cropp, 18, 4883 Helser Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
- Christopher King, 20, 3315 Roy Key Ave., was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
- Derek Kritsch, 18, 4867 Helser Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
- Matthew Delger, 18, 5561 Friley Hall, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
- Two 17-year-old females from Grayslake, Ill., were referred to Juvenile Court Services for underage possession of alcohol at Friley Hall.
