Police Blotter

The information in the blotter comes from Ames Police records provided to the Iowa State Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 3
- Jay Orsack, 1370 231st St., Boone, was arrested for possession of a precursor. He was taken to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
- Marty Poling, 415 Clinton St., Boone, was arrested for possession of a precursor. He was taken to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
- Heath Walker, 101 N. Hyland Ave. #4, was arrested on a warrant for serious assault. He was released on $2,000 bond.
September 4
- Richard Claussen, 525 Kellogg Ave., was arrested for operating while intoxicated, driving under revocation, and driving under suspension. He was taken to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
- Steven Schlotter, 614 Billy Sunday Rd. #203, was arrested on three warrants for failure to pay parking tickets. He was fined and given time to pay.
September 6
- Del Kiegley, 936 3rd St., Jewell, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. he was released on his own recognizance.
- Robert Schaffer, 4027 Ross Rd., was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
- Benjamen Moran, 1855 Y Ave., Granger, was arrested for public intoxication. He pled guilty and was fined.
- Max Highland, 103 N. Wilmoth, was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
- Kevin Davis, 225 S. Kellogg Ave., was arrested for interference with official acts and aggravated domestic abuse. He was released to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.
