The information in the log comes from ISU Police records provided to the Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 20
- A residence staff member reported seeing individuals carrying a keg into an apartment. Shawn McKeag, 19, 3337 Frederiksen Court, was later charged with underage possession of alcohol at Frederiksen Court.
- Officers assisted an individual who was injured and bleeding at Friley Hall.
- An 18-year-old female was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center after consuming too much alcohol. Heriberto Claudio-Gomez, 26, 7321 Frederiksen Court, was subsequently charged with supplying alcohol to underage persons at Frederiksen Court.
- Adam Clark, 24, Johnston, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated at Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Way. He was taken into custody on a warrant held by the Ames Police Department.
- Jason Kramer, 24, Sibley, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. He was additionally taken into custody on warrants held by Calhoun, O’Brien, Cherokee, Plymouth and Osceola counties at Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Way.
- Two abandoned backpacks and a toolbox were placed into secure storage until the owner can be located at Lot 63.
- Vehicles owned and/or driven by Zhigang Zhou and Eric Thorson were involved in a personal injury collision at Hyland Avenue and Lincoln Way.
September 21
- Officers responded to a report that a man had become sick and refused to leave the area. Jason Duncan, 18, 428 Freeman Hall, was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication at Freeman Hall.
- Officers received a report that an unknown woman entered a man’s apartment without permission. Jami Sonney, 23, 2507 Aspen Road, was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication at Schilletter Village.
- A man reported two men hit him in the head with a bottle and took a gold chain at Knapp Hall.
