Police Blotter

The information in the blotter comes from Ames Police records provided to the Iowa State Daily. All those accused of violating the law are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
August 26
- Jane Millard, 1321 Nixon Cir., was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court for an animal at large. She was released and given until Sept. 5 to pay.
- Lual Lual, 5683 Derby Ct. #10, was arrested for fifth degree theft. He pleaded guilty and paid $100 fine.
- Dallas Lyon, no permanent address, was arrested for fifth degree theft, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and two counts of possession of a precursor. He was taken to the Story County Jail.
August 27
- Angela Socarras, 202 N. 5th St., Marshalltown, was arrested for possession of precursors and conspiracy to manufacture. She was taken to the Story County Jail and held on $50,000 bond.
- Nathan Priske, 213 S. 17th Ave., Marshalltown, was arrested for possession of precursors and conspiracy to manufacture. He was taken to the Story County Jail and held on $50,000 bond.
- Dennis Foster, 514 N. 15th Ave., Marshalltown, was arrested for possession of precursors and conspiracy to manufacture. He was taken to the Story County Jail and held on $50,000 bond.
- Juan Romero-Moreno, 205 Apple Pl., was arrested for simple domestic assault. He was released on his own recognizance.
August 28
- Jeremiah Norris, 1316 S. Duff Ave. #74, was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
- John Mertz, 1314 Ontario Cir., was arrested for public intoxication. He was released on citation.
- Donald Smith, 915 Duff Ave., was arrested for public intoxication and theft in the fifth degree.
- Michael Kennedy, P.O. Box 218, was arrested for possession of precursors. He was taken to the Story County Jail and held on $32,500 bond.
- Kenneth Dalestle, 1006 Lincoln Way, was arrested for possession of precursors. He was taken to the Story County Jail and held on $32,500 bond.
- Jake Weller, 7015 Monroe Ct., Urbandale, was arrested for criminal trespass. He pled guilty and was fined.
August 29
- Tiffany Johnson, 4205 Walnut Ave. #18, was arrested for public intoxication. She pled guilty and was fined.
- Michael Miller, 1008 Palmetto Dr., Belton, Texas, was arrested on a transient merchant charge. He was released on citation.
- James Perry, 614 9th St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving under suspension charge. He was taken to the Story County Jail.
- Jake Wheeler, 7015 Monroe Ct., Urbandale, was arrested for criminal trespass. He was taken to the Story County Jail.
