The ISU softball team begins a brief fall exhibition season this weekend when it hosts a four-team tournament at the Southwest Athletic Complex.

The tournament will pit the Cyclones against teams from Drake, Grandview College and Iowa Central Community College. Iowa State will face its first opponent, Drake, on Saturday at noon. The six-game tournament will close when the Cyclones take on Grandview at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to all tournament games is free.

Iowa State travels to Drake Sept. 27-28 to conclude their fall season at the Iowa Fall Challenge. The intrastate tournament will include teams from Iowa, Northern Iowa and Drake.
